"Yesterday" is one of the most overrated songs in music history.

My favorites are:
- While My Guitar Gently Weeps
- Norwegian Wood
- Eleanor Rigby

Close runners up include For No One, Something, In My Life, Mean Mr. Mustard, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite, A Day in the Life, and many others.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Taxman, Hey Jude, Back in the USSR, in that order. Not a huge Lennon man, you can see.

I think "Yesterday" sucks as well (as an example of a song done by the Beatles). I guess Boyz-2-men will try to kick my ass now...

favorite Beatles:
1)Day in the life, 2) Abbey Road side 2 (one song, same theme throughout) 3)While My Guitar Gently Weeps

*Alternate #2 is Strawberry Fields*

3. Yesterday tied with Hey Jude

Ick, I don't like that quote.

Um, I'd have to say mine are:
  • Got to Get You Into My Life
  • She's Leaving Home
  • The 'Mean Mr. Mustard/Polythene Pam/She Came In Through The Bathroom Window' medley
But there are about 12 other songs that could easily have been placed on this list instead of these three. This is just the top three for today. :D

And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make...

It is. It's utterly boring compared to the rest of their repertoire.

And Zaia, good call with "She's Leaving Home". That song kicks ass.

  • Hey Jude
    Elanor Rigby

No particular order, but they're great songs, simple to play, and lovely to listen to.

In Third:Yellow Submarine
In Second: Eight Days A Week
In First: Elanor Rigby

In an unrelated note I've got a friend who's a bit of a stoner, who, seriously, dosen't know who the beatles are, doesn't know who hendrix was and most obnoxious for someone who's a stoner, doesn't know who pink floyd is. WTF!!! Oh and she actually thought that weird al yankovich was a rap artist.

Damn right - my personal favourite run is from Golden Slumbers to Her Majesty... but that's cheating... but I don't care :P

So, the top three:

- Golden Slumbers to Her Majesty
- Sgt. Pepper (family reasons)
- Hey Jude

Pppft! Those aren't Beatles songs. :D

Twist and shout, now that's a good song.

My second favorite Beatles song would have to be that one that isn't all overrated and overplayed... you know, that song.... with the guitar riff...
No wait, that wasn't a Beatles song.

I think it's extremely evil to ask for only 3 Beatles songs. It would be easier to choose 3 albums. :(

In My Life

Revolution 1

Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band <reprise>

Favorite Beatles cover: Mötley Crüe's version of Helter Skelter
