What position do you sleep in?

Post by IndustrialNoise »

Do you usually sleep all curled up into a ball, stretched out all over the bed, cuddled up with someone, or something else?

I usually end up on my side, curled up.

i sleep on my side, kinda curled up. This is mostly because my wife likes to sprawl out and take up most of the bed when she sleeps.

I don't know how I'll make it through the night when/if I get married. I absolutely hate sharing a bed with another person. You have to worry about not hogging the covers, if they have enough room, etc.

My biggest problem is that I move around a lot in my sleep. I sleep soundly, but I'll wake up with the sheets twisted off and the blanet on the floor and sometimes really odd things like the pillow on the other end of the bed. Doesn't bother me any, but I've heard it said that I'm a world class blanket hog and I wake people up by rolling over on top of them and the like.

face down, with my limbs spread out, sometimes with my head UNDER or BETWEEN the pillows. I wonder sometimes why I don't get smothered in my sleep.

If I'm sleeping with someone else, I'll wake up with one side of my limbs over them, or with my head rested on their tush.

then there is the pleasntness of whacking/getting whaked in the head when you or your bedmate rolls over. Although it is nice on cold winter nights.

Human beds are uncomfortable. I cant sleep on my back which I would like to because my head will roll to one side which makes my neck hurt like hell. Instead I sleep on my side completely stretched out.

I sleep best spread flat out on my back with my neck supported well, but I'm impatient and don't usually sleep like that all the time because in the interim of falling asleep, it just aint as comfortable as sleeping on my side.

And there's something about cool sheets on a warm night...mmmmm... bring the feather pillow of Alfredo Garcia...

'Specially if she's nekkid.

Another advantage to sleeping with someone: on occasion, she might have an X rated dream, wake up horny in the middle of the night, and suddenly you wake up with her tongue in your mouth and her hand on your fun parts. This actually happened to me once, and I still grin like an idiot whenever I think about it.

Usually on my side, facing the nightstand. I find it comfortable, and it's easy to find out the time when you wake up in the middle of the night. I also tend to sleep with at least three pillows, as it give me good neck support.

On my side, I can't sleep on my back or stomach. And I'd sleep on the floor before I'd sleep in a chair.

I sleep with my back on one side of the bed. One side of it is more depressed then the other due to sitting on it more often. My bed is also a couch.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Asleep on my back, listening to my cd player. I usually fall asleep to quickly to remove it, so in the morning first thing I have to hunt for it. Foot of the bed, under the the pillows, on the floor (very surprised it hasn't broken yet).
Odd places. :P

I usually do that too, but I take a while to fall asleep. I just listen until the CD's done(which is usually a pretty long time), by which time I'm half asleep, and then throw it on the floor next to me or something.

On my side, snuggled up against my BF, or sometimes I flop down on my stomach right on top of him. If I'm sleeping by myself I usually fall asleep on my back and wake up curled up a bit on my side.

Curled up in the fetal position with my dog nestled behind my thighs (she's small so she fits in the indent of my knees pretty well) and usually snuggling with a pillow. If there is someone else in bed with me, I'll give them a wide berth.

I can only fall asleep on my back, with my arms on the side and the blanket over them. However, when I wake up, usually I've pulled the sheets and blanket into a sort of "wrap" around my body, and I'm laying on my left side.

I want to hang a camera or something from my ceiling one time- from what I've heard from fellow campers, I'm a sleep talker(and occasional walker).
