Lost a tooth

Post by Jaded Masses »

On Thursday I took a day off school and went to the dentist to get a degraded and broken tooth removed. I thin it stands as a testimony to how pathetic I can get, here I am at 15 fucking years old and have already had a tooth pulled. There was a period in my life where I didn't take good care of my teeth but many cavities made me get serious about it. Despite that this tooth was almost gone, four little towers of bone with gum in between. The teeth around seem in good shape too. Afterwards they put me on this big ass bottle of amoxicillin, that will take me a while to polish off. The actual procedure was pretty quick and easy. The tooth broke and came out in several pieces and the three roots had to be pulled out individually, but only the first one (which was curved) was really painful. I found the best way to deal with the pain was to imagine pretty girls and doing naughty things to them, and then turn the pain into something it wasn't. ( I can sympathize more with the idea of S&M now..). This approach cased me to chuckle after the pain was worse, as I contemplated how silly the difference between my thoughts and reality were, which probably confused the dentist a bit. Luckily it was the furthest back in my mouth, so its not noticeable, but it sure was an eye-opener to what will happen if I don't stay serious about teeth care. Its painful to imagine the gap in my teeth being up in the front or sides where it would effect my looks and eating...
