Well, we've had a list of the dumbest inventions ever, now what about the best ones?

I believe the best thing ever invented is contraceptives, thanks to them I can have lots of sex whenever I want without the worries of getting my partner(s) pregnant. Sex is good, more sex is better, sex with lots of hot chicks with no pregnancy worries just kicks ass.

1) Running water
2) Writing and later, the printing press
3) Refridgeration and air conditioning

When you think about their impact on society, all of the other stuff is chickenshit (the third one is underrated, but think about it).

After that comes cars and planes, radio and TV, and then ... vibrators
