Now I HAVE to gauge my tongue bar! GRR!!!! The bottom ball is starting to get stuck in the piercing! NOT GOOD!!! And I have NO MONEY!!! EVEN WORSEE!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Hence, the Oral Fixation thread. Its not that bad, if it doesn't come into actual contact with my teeth (which it normally doesn't)

Yes, I realize. And it was never meant to concern anyone. Just a random vent in the OT forum. I didn't expect it to start getting stuck yet. I was planning on gauging it first...grr...oh, well...maybe I can scrounge up the $30 to do it...

One of my co-workers cracked a tooth on his tounge stud while eating. It was going to cost him $800 to get it fixed or $1000 to have the tooth replaced with an implant.

In otherwords, be careful with those things.

I do....its just that it suddenly started getting stuck in the bottom of the piercing...I dunno what I'm gonna have to gauge it to...gr...

That is simple NOT one of the things I would get periced, it looks horribble on pretty much EVERYONE, gives the secret goverment people a good place to hide tracking bugs(Just kidding, but it still looks terrible)

Well, some solid advice Verilon... don't gauge it yourself. I've had friends who have done that with ear, tongue, and 1 nose piercing that say that it was not worth the pain and occasionally the rips that occured when they did it themselves. Get some friends who know who to do gauging if you don't want to keep paying money for someone to do it.

Shit like that's, why I don't go sticking holes in myself.

i know a little about medical stuff, mainly that punching extra holes in the body is a bad thing... hence, i've got no piercings, now granted i've had 3 knives and a screwdriver go completely thru my hand and arm to date. (screwdriver thru forearm, 3 differant knives at differant times thru the hand, including one thru the "web" between my left thumb and forefinger) i have been tempted to get the right ear pierced though, hang a chain with clip off of it (clip to the upper part of the ear)

There are worse places besides the tongue where piercings have been done...

I think it means diametre of the hole

gauging a piercing (a before u) is making the hole bigger.
