get snow....just not very often..
I live in the south, it's not expected to snow here until the first weeks of november. That's a month too early! But anyway, the snow's gone now. And it probably won't come back until christmas.Ted wrote: You're in SWEDEN though, its EXPECTED to snow ealry on.
It is the first week of November. Not early at all in that case.Dooey Jo wrote:I live in the south, it's not expected to snow here until the first weeks of november. That's a month too early! According to my friend Sandra who lives in New Mexico, the seasons go something like this, it was written in April.verilon wrote: New Mexico gets it less often...I know, I've lived in VA before...
Yeh...thats about right. Except our monsoon season came about three months late. It may/may not snow this year. And if it does, it mainly stays in the mountains. Ask Larz about what its like up there.aerius wrote:According to my friend Sandra who lives in New Mexico, the seasons go something like this, it was written in April.verilon wrote: New Mexico gets it less often...I know, I've lived in VA before...
"There are hot season, cool season, windy season (right now)
and it's not just a breeze like 60 mph winds. I hate it. in the summer
it's Monsoon (I do not think that's how it's spelt), all of a sudden out of
no where a huge storm comes and dumps rain, hard. Then just as ffast as it
came it's gone. It is totally crazy!"
She also says that though it does snow there, it usually doesn't stay on the ground long unless it's really high up. Kind of a tradeoff, I could do without shoveling snow, but then again I'd miss out on snowball fights.
