How was your Halloween?

[Copied from my LiveJournal]

Last night sucked ass. I didn't go out like I wanted to. I am about ready to break down crying simply because this is my first Halloween in the real world, and I didn't do SHIT.

I really wanted to go out and have fun...and I didn't. This year has sucked worse than all the other sucky Halloweens I'v ehad...COMBINED. For the simple reason that I didn't do anything.

I admit that I didn't have anything to wear, but that's different entirely. I don't care. All I wanted to do was go over to the club...and I don't even have the three dollars on me to do THAT.

Eh, I watched some movies, listened to some tunes, no biggie.

Kinda hard to have Halloween in a dorm.

We had about 80-90 kids show up. I had to stay inside with the dog, however, so I didn't see the costumes. My husband was surprised. ONly about 3 Spideys. Lots of witches. I did see a Sully. She was a cute little thing. When we get the pics of the house developed, I'll post 'em.

Dressed up as Yuske from Yu-yu Hakusho and ended up having a mock fight in the student center courtyard when I ran into a guy decked out as Inuyasha. God, that was fun.

Aw, man. You should STILL get your friends together and do something fun. It's one of the few holidays you can excuse yourself for acting like a lunatic, and if you're already a lunatic, everyone goes out and acts like you. Go out, scare yourself. It doesn't cost a dime.

The season is still in order, verilon. You should grab some pals and do something adventurous, like romp through a cemetary calling Black Aggie or take a Haunted Walk tour or something free like that.

Went around the block with my kids trick or treaten. Lots of fun but cold as hell last night. Had alot of kids come to the house for candy, but not as much as years passed cuz of the cold.

Hey, question: Since I noticed the lukewarm reception to the Ghost Stories thread, I wanted to ask: Does anyone DO that any more, I mean camp out and tell spooky stories, or am I so far behind the times that it ain't funny?

As I've said before, I won't hang out in a cemetary, esp at night. And not the abandoned asylum down the street, either. I can't do it. And if my friends could be bothered to CALL ME I might actually have some fun with them...esp since I can never get a hold of them...

I wish I could suggest something you'd find cool, verilon. I hate to see someone have any suckass holiday, especially the official Grim Holiday of Pranking.

Speaking of which, I have a pile of those really authentic 'makes it look like it's formatting your computer' pranks lying around if anyone needs to scare the shit out of a less gifted PC user.

Oooh.....I'd take some of those, but they'd be of better use on the Not-So-Grim Holiday of Pranking...April Fool's!

I didn't really do anything last night, except for some movie watching.

Neither my girlfriend or a friend of mine had seen Dead Alive, so we went and rented it.

Love that movie.

I slept... it was good... very good, and not one pesky kid showed up at our house.. but that could be attributed to the fact that the cloak of death couldn't have been any more black then our house was last night

Eww. Only if our mutual friend was a pretty girl and my g/f swung that way.......but no. Nothing happened (or will happen) except for proclamations of how gory that movie was.

But, I did warn them.
