It won't matter as it can be appealed and there are three motions they can file to hold off the Break-Up And/Or they can simple ignore the order to break-up

Why?
Because thats another 2-3 Years Of Trail while they file charages and take them through Court

If Micrsoft Wants they can drag this out Easily for a minium of seven years, possible as long as twenty

As King Solomon wrote, "There is nothing new under the sun."

He with the most money will generally win...

well, that sucks.

I didn't expect the states to get everything they wanted, but (after following the case), I did expect the final judgement to be somewhere between the what teh states' wanted and the "settlement".

I got $20 that says they'll be back in court in 5 years to redo this whole thing AGAIN. MS doesn't play nice with competition.

You know what would be the height of irony?

If Apple started funding the opposition. That would be so rich for so many reasons...

I heard yesterday that the next version of Office will be designed to NOT work on Windows 98 or NT. Windows 2000 will require a patch. XP will not.

I think that sucks and I make a living because of them. But I wonder if it will push people to something like Open Office.

Bollocks = Damn

Bollocks = Bulls nuts.

So you may use it for damn, and as an insult at the same time. A very usefull word.
