I tried pot for the first time today. I've never felt worse in my life. Being stoned sucks horribly. I would rather be stabbed. It took me five hits to become stoned. I dont get why people like it. My body just felt useless, my head felt like ocean ripples were going through it, and i just plain felt miserable. My thoughts were really stupid too. Good god. To top that, i started twictching uncontrollably. Not like minor muscle stuff, i mean like all my muscles contracting, violent twitches, and i spent a good half-hour crying on my gf's stomach, wishing for death. I think that weed cancelled out the anti-depressants i'm on. I felt just as bad as i did when i wanted to kill myself. I am pissed at myself right now. God damn it.

Five hits??? It took me more than that, but I have a high tolerance...you may have (A) had too much, (B) had too much of really good stuff, or (C) had too much of some laced with something. In essence, you had too much. It's not a "feel-right-now" kinda thing, tho, so maybe that's why you felt so crappy. Sorry you had such a bad first esperience.

Perhaps the weed was bad, or it reacted badly with something already in your system. What did you use:a straight joint, a bong, a vaporizer, something else?

Pipe, houka, etc...

Or, you know, perhaps the police officer in sixth grade was right, and it's really not that great of an idea to smoke that stuff.

Just a bowl. I do have huge lung capacity, so i could inhale a lot of smoke and keep it in for a long time. My stoner friend said the stuff was really good.

That's the problem...you took too hard hits on too many hits on good stuff.

If you do it again, I recommend using a vaporizer. And don't take too much of it. Start off easy.

Hell no. I'd rather be stabbed then smoke again.

I personally have never used a vaporizer, but straight joints are good to start out with.

Ive never tried it, I find the smell of it to be unpleasant.

Did you have other drugs in your system? Prescription or not.

I guess its kinda like the first beer. Nobody I know went, HMMMM thats good.

It is...and bte, it was prolly laced. With what, I couldn't tell you.

It's kinda like smoking a igarette...I started with a joint, then progressed to a pipe, then a houka, and I still haven't smoked out of a bong.

It releases the THC in the weed without actually burning it. Healthier than smoking it, since you don't get any of the nasty combustion products.
