I think everyone agrees that we want her to stay, and that she meant a lot more to us than that one "Ask Kelly" thread.

But you can't badger someone into staying. I've already E-mailed her and I suspect others have too; let's try not to be too pushy.

Look, Kelly, if you're reading this, I know far too many people that act like you are now, and that is my greatest pet peeve ever. People that act childish. Many people value you as you are. Not like this. I have never lost a friend that acted like this, because I told them not to act like this, and they saw how it was affecting other people. I don't want you to be the first. Again, as I have said, and many before me, we never wanted to imply that you were wanted to leave. It's not cool to do this. I hope that you really, truly consider this, and the friends that you have here, and the people (such as myself, Wong, Stormbringer, Stravo, Yosemite Bear, and Iggy) all consider you to be.

The thread was spamming from the very beginning but had degenerated into a chat room for 3 people. It was the right decision to stop it at that point.
And remember it was only locked, it could have been deleted.
I really see absolutely no reason for kelly to quit posting because of this, it's not as if someone had personally insulted her or something.
Wong and several others emailed her already, but I dunno if she will come back.
