Anyone with anything that valuable would be posting it immediately or going to the government for help, or something. There is simply no way one would risk one's life for that long witholding information from the world that could alter the fate of humanity, and the excuse that he is building hype is just an excuse. If he releases anything, it will almost certainly be just some stupid bit for a mass-market appeal, and he'll just try to cash in. Besides, did you notice that he failed to specify a time on March 8, even though he is allegedly releasing this information around the world? Clearly a hoax best. At worst, it's someone who is trying to play off everyone's deepest beliefs, curiosity, and fears.

I picked up the handset to phone my friend. I wanted to tell him what had just happened. My eyes bugged with surprise as I heard a 'clicking' sound. Someone was tapping my phone.
Fokes let me say it this way
I know how to Tap Phones, I learned how in collage to help with a certian "prank" of which I can't discuss for another 6 Years(Thank Bob For Statue of Limitations heh heh)
There is no "Click" heard when tapping a phone, Tapping a phone is done either by physicly tapping it at the phone's location, outside the house where the wire joins, Either 5 Feet Below the ground(In most citys) Or Twelve feet in the air on a tele-phone Phone Junction Box
Or down at the local Phone Switching area
None of which in any way could cause a *Click, while tapping one could get no dial-tone(Escpiclly if done at the Centeral office) however you would not hear a *click at any point
Also notice fokes, He was on the internet, Phone line, Anyone know what happens on a Phone line(IE Dial-up) when one picks up a Phone?
Yep Internet noise and it don't sound no click
Suddenly a black van with tinted windows pulled up outside my house.
Hmmm unless National Big Bad Person Headquaters is next to his house right there its impossible they got here that fast

*Shinova enters his conspiracy theorist mode*
Maybe the gov have special tech where they can secretly phase or teleport people to various locations around the world! Or, or, maybe the guy has a second phone line to connect to the internet with! Or, or, maybe the clicking sound was....was....was....I don't know! They had to be tapping his phone and all, and the HDD whirring was probably whirring so loudly, after all this guy had to have been using a comp for a while thus would know the difference between normal whirring and weird whirrings since what's the chance that it would be a normal whirring if the whirring was THAT loud so his HDD had to have been hacked or something!!
*Shinova exits theorist mode*
I'm just gonna wait till 3-8-2003 and see.

Fruitcake, and a complete dumbass too. The fact that he registered himself a domain name makes tracking him down even easier. All they'd have to do is find out who's hosting the site and demand usage and access logs. From there they can find out exactly which 'net cafe he's updating his site from, and thus where he is. Even if he's going thru friends they can be disappeared and interogated for info, and that money of his can easily be traced thru transfers. It ain't rocket science, your local police could do it, nevermind the evil government black ops agency he's hinting at. And all that waiting just gives them more time to whack him.
In short, another fruitcake who's watched the X-files too many times. The whole story was lifted off an X-files/conspiracy plotline.

Aren't those things supposed to be prohibitively expensive, but have no real advantages over a bicycle?
That and they look REALLY dorky. I can't imagine having to ride to work on one of those. I'd probably be laughed out of the office.

It's a hoax. Just a practical joke put together by some stupid kid with way too much free time on their hands.
