Babylon 5 season one is available as a DVD box set today. Anyone planning on getting it?

I want to get it today. The problem is I have no money for stuff like that. So, I guess I'll just have to wait until Christmas.

The set looks to be running from a little under $75 to just under $80 in most places. I think the regular price is supposed to be over $100.

Bought it on Amazon last night, so I'm hoping to have it in my hands by the end of the week, as well as the Bamd of brothers set. For the next few weeks I will be dropping a small fortune on DVDs with AOTC coming out next week AND The Lord of the Rings super special edition. (It pisses me off to no end that I see this edition as a naked ataempt to make more money but I still go out and buy it!)

I can't wait for seasons three and four the highlights of that wonderful series. Anyone know whether this set is going to have any commentary tracks?

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Seasons 2-4 being on DVD.

I know what you mean about the DVDs. I am likely to have the same problem because of AotC and LOtR. I'm still not decided on B5 season 1. I have it on tape but I didn't get full blown interested in the show until season 2.

At least some of the episodes do. I think JMS did one.

Already got it. B5 is my favorite Sci-Fi TV series. I feel I owe it to the people who brought it to me to give them money in exchange for all the free entertainment.

As soon as I can get the money I'll buy it.

I broke down and bought it already too.

I haven't watched it much but the picture is great and the sound is incredible.

Signs & Portents and Chrysalis are both supposed to have commentary tracks.

Have it on order but they don't release it here for another 3 weeks

I did put in anorder for Band of Brothers but it will be released early next year here
