How about France's attitude that they have a superior culture and language. That they should be the center and leader of Europe. Their irrational hatred of all things American. It disgusts me. Their culture is so superior that they actively pass laws to protect it, banning the americanization of the french language like discouraging the use of the word "car". We do not have that sort of attitude. We are secure enough in our own culture and way of life that we could care less what the French or anyone else for that matter do.

They are the whores of Europe, selling their weapons to ANYONE that will pay and fighting our sanctions against Iraq every step of the way. After 9/11 they called the Bush doctrine simplistic and unworkable. Yeah, maybe if we were as listless and pathetic as the French, sure. I pray every day that a nuke goes off in Paris just so we can see how these guys would raect. Do they have enough of a backbone or balls to do anythign or will they wring their hands and sit it out on the sidelines? I think I know the answer to that.

Their hygeine stinks.

They have nothing that they will stand for, everything is fluid for them. I have not seen the French take a stand, moral or otherwise against anything (except American culture those worthless pricks)

Personally if I could vote to have France annexed back to Germany I would do it in a heartbeat. I have met only the finest folks from Germany, and guess what? They love our culture and endeavor to learn our language. Those fromage eating fucks would still be doing the goosestep if not for the other world powers, the very ones they hate by the way.

I'm sorry, was that a rant? 8)

BTW did I mention they smell?

I can't believe people like France.

Even the French don't like France.

I don't particularly like France, though the people there weren't too bad (then again, my family doesn't look stereotypically American). Nothing in Paris really excited me, though the countryside might be nicer (and I really want to visit Normandy).

I like to get French on people. That means I act peaceful, then get beaten up, until a stronger, braver person comes and saves me. Then, I start hating him.

Well, I took 2 semesters of French last year, but my alterior(sp?) motive for that was so I could read Bandes desinees (french language comic books; yes I know I'm a dork,) which are mostly from Belgium anyway. Those things are pretty cool, but the bitching about everything we do makes them very unlikeable. Can't say I hate all french people though.

In France's defense, there was alot of protesting in the streets when LePen was trying to get elected as prime minister. 'Course the fact that such a man could get that far running on an anti immigration and downplaying the holocaust platform doesn't really speak well for France either. I heard French Canadians are just as bad if not worse when it comes to language and cultural superiority. Any of you canadians wanna verify that? I've never been there.

Livin' in germany near the french border, all germans (for the sake of political correctness) have to love france, and so do I.
No, really, I know some french and they're just guys like you and me, some are assholes, some are not.
But they are extremely proud of their 'culture' (eating snails and frogs = culture and civilisation. I'd never thought it would be that disgusting to be civilized.)

There BO is their only way of defending themselves against Germany. Cpt.Frank would be the first to die of suffocation in the event of war.

I'm Australian. I'm not allowed to have an opinion on anything.

Although I must admit, France has the worst accent outside of North America.

Excuse me! Don't you know anything! I'm South Australian. No Eastern Blood runs through my veins. Our state wasn't a convict colony. Rather it was set up by socially progressive idealists who sought a place where all people could live without discrimination on basis of race, religion or gender.

It was the second place in the world to grant women the vote, and the first place to allow the indigenous population the same rights as the white colonists.

So Nah!

Well I am non too fond of France after the Rainbow warrior affair. The wankers blakmailed us into letting go the two DGSE types we caught by threateneing to veto our exports to Europe.
Mind you people I know who have been there think its nice enough, overpriced, but nice. Guess it depends on what Frogs you meet.
On the other coin I have been to England,, and the tendeny of the locals to be whinging bastards is pronounced, esp in London.

It's true. Quebeckers are the most annoying whiners on the planet.
  • They have language laws which are so discriminatory toward non-French speakers that they're on Amnesty International's list of human rights violators.
  • They demanded (and got) special provisions in the constitution so that they could continue these practices with impunity.
  • Ever since Trudeau, they have maintained an elite core of politicians in the capital who grease the wheels for each others' campaigns, so most of our federal leaders are Quebeckers
  • Quebec gets a bigger proportion of federal spending than any other province, by far
  • Quebec demands special treatment under the constitution so that they can veto all 9 of the other provinces if they feel their "distinct culture" is threatened in some way which they do not have to explain (in other words, at will).
  • Quebec keeps threatening to secede, like some spoiled teenager who threatens to move out of his parents' house even though he doesn't have a job. If they leave, they want to keep our dollar but not take a dime of our federal debt, even though they racked up a big chunk of it.
  • Federal projects never get approved unless some of the money will go to Quebec. Anybody who tries to get a major project approved at the federal level knows that he has to make sure this happens. It's become routine.
  • In WW1, Quebeckers fought the draft, voting almost uniformly against it and saying that the war was a "British problem" and therefore none of their concern. Riots broke out in Quebec over the sheer vehemence of their opposition to the draft.
Quebec is a worthless whiner province that simultaneously demands that we take care of them and insists that they are superior. That is all.

Australia? Bah, you're nothing but the fourth-place America. See, it goes like this:

America
Great Britain
Canada
Australia
New Zealand

Yes, I did just designate Great Britain as the "second-place America" so kiss my arrogant Yankee ass!

Furthermore, soccer is stupid!

Aww, boo-hoo. It's sad when the world's greatest empire had to create such funny little countries.
