I think there should be something next to titles of the threads when viewing forums that tells us if the thread is one that we've posted in or not.

That would most likely require different board software.

That would be utterly pointless as well as requring extra bandwidth storage space and screwing up the layout
Just remeber which!

Shinova: when you're in the index, scroll up to the top and look under the logo. Click "view your posts" to see every thread you've ever posted in.

Have you ever seen a vB board? vB marks threads which contain posts by the current user by putting something resembling a bullethole through the new posts/no new posts icon. It doesn't effect the layout at all.

Check http://www.phpbb.org and see if someone's already requested that; it should be in the Sourceforge part. It does sound like a good feature to add.

Yes, that, and custom user titles (for all, not just for a select few).

Nah, I like the system we've got now. Maybe set up some titles after Jedi Council Member.

Nice Bean! Like we actually have any control over it :?

Anyways, DW is the only admin so it is entirely up to him. But he has already said in the past that he wants to keep the bandwidth down, and custom titles are only for those whom have earned his favor. So don't get your hopes up.

Eh? Custom titles eat bandwidth in exactly the same way as Darkstar made sense. That is to say, not at all.

Custom titles will use storage space, but not bandwidth.

Lets see, I joined on the first day the board was up, am the seventh soon to be 8th highest poster on the board. I have no custom title and no one has ever even suggested one.

Don’t get your hopes up.

No, I was there when it started, and I've decided not to. I will not change my mind now. I will NEVER become a monkey, ever.

Whatever you say. I will earn my own custom title someday, and it will not be a monkey.
