I want to start a Petition to IP ban these disruptive spamming Plainfield Pieces of SHIT! So I will... WHO'S WITH ME?

I think to do so would involve banning thousands of AOL users.

I don't think he's done enough to be banned. Remember that banning is the ultimate weapon, and is only to be invoked in the worst-case scenarios. In this case, the guy is clearly a jerk, but he has not been persistent enough, IMO, to deserve banning. I say we wait on the matter. If he gets worse, or if he does not improve, then we can ban him. Otherwise, let him stay for now.

This is OUTRAGOUS! Banning the AoL users would effetively cut me off from the Hydian Way making hyperspace through the...wait just a god damned second. I use cable now. Ban away boys.

Seriously, everyone, you're overreacting. If we have to ban him, that's one thing, but to IP ban everyone in such a huge area is just ludicrous. Remember that the purpose of banning someone is to make the quality of discussion here go up. Banning a whole group of people, most of whom are not in the LEAST bit offensive, will make the quality of discussion go down.

I say either keep them around and either ignore them in hopes that they'll leave, or hope they stop spamming and become rational.

No ban. Short-term gain(losing a few idiots) is outweighed by long-term loss(lossing several good members and barring any future good ones forever)
