We all know that when a thread is moved from one forum to another, the offending thread stays in the original forum, just with "MOVED" before the title. And that the thread continues to be updated as people post into it in its new forum.

Is there anyway to get rid of the copy-thread that stays in the original forum? I know this might seem petty, but this kinda annoys me, and it just adds clutter to the forum.

I've heard moving it back and forth a couple times kills the shadow but I dunno...

We can delete the shadow topic if we want, from the moderator panel. Were there any particular threads you wanted cleaned up?

Well, pretty much all of them.

But I really think that the shadow should be deleted after a day or two. If it takes someone that long to realise the thead's been moved, that's their problem.
