South Park vs The Simpsons

Which is the funniest cartoon comedy?? I would have said The Simpsons, but the last couple of season weren't as funny, and prior to that, it was still getting funnier and Funnier. Maybe because Conan O'Brian stopped writing for them (as a friend suggested).

South Park on the other hand, while at face value, looks like it appeals to the lowest common denominator, it's actually very clever and extremely funny, and getting funnier with each episode. Well now I'd say South Park wins by a small margin.

South Park is a more laugh out loud crude type of humor. Simpsons is a bit more "cultured." Both are still really funny though.

But South Park got the kraziest stuff "Timmy in a band"

This Years Halloween Episode wasn't as funny as previous ones IMO.

I think that the Simpsons has the stuff for staying fresh for many years while South Park will go old in a couple of years after people starts getting tired of the same jokes but it is good and funny... for now.... I do think, however, that the SImpsons has finally ran out of good ideas over the what 13 years?
