What city is more of a shithole?

I live in Hamiltion it's pretty bad high S02 levels set a guniesse record for a few years for SO2 in the air

I dunno where Hamilton is, but I have heard bad things about Buffalo.

There are some places around Pittsburgh that are pretty bad, with all the decaying and abandoned buildings, but Pittsburgh itself looks far better than it did a while back, with urban renewal and all the smog gone.

Parts of Philly are pretty bad, I've noticed. But the city has taken steps. First, they put walls up, so nobody can see them. I odn't mean to offend anyone who lives there, though.

I couldn't, since I haven't been there for four years . I think the population's up to 7,000, and the mayor finally retired (after 20-something years of being reelected every time). Don't know too much else about what's going on.

I can. I LOVE NYC. I was born here and I fully intend to die here. Of course considering some of the terrorist threats out there it could happen sooner rather than later but even with that looming overhead I could never leave this place.

Same could be said about St. Petersburg. Sure, Russia's poor now, and there are people like Pavel living there, and a lot of things there are not as good as they could be (and only getting worse, too). But I wouldn't go as far as calling the capital of the One and Only Great Russian Empire a "shithole"

Hamilton, Ohio has it's shitty qualities, but it's not all bad. It has Greenwood cemetery, one of my favorite places on earth. John Cleves Symmes, world renowned early hollow-earth theorist, has his monument there. Henry Ford, built the world's first and only hydro-electric powered auto plant there. There are also many small scale architectural gems scattered around town. But, most importantly, it produced me!
