No, you didn't. And it is not caused by sleep dep. I'v ehad this feeling for w few months now. I've been sleep depped for about a month and a half. Prick.

Sometimes I have felt as if my real consciousness had returned to check back on how his ai has been running things. It takes a moment to take stock of what a nightmare I have made its life to be and runs away screaming. Yet it keeps coming back. In other words, I feel like a semi-sentient construct made to keep the lights on for some mysterious being who for some reason can't be bothered to experience life for itself. It feels weird when it returns. First I just freeze for a few moments to reassess my situation. Then I have a few awkward moments of action until it gets bored and leaves again.

It happens around 2pm on the days when I have to wake up at 6am. I feel nice and zoned out then, it's like I'm on my computer but I'm not on my computer, and I'm trying to snap out of it but I can't. Sorta like a fully awake dream, really weird.
