Where would you fit in?

Which science-fiction/fantasy would you most want be a part of? Personally, I think I would fit most into the WoT or maybe the 1984 aspect, but others may disagree with me. I just dunno a whole lot of sci-fi...

Maybe this should be in OSF? I am not really sure on this one...

'Lone Gunman' style of character. Rough around the edges, but a fairly decent guy.

Star Wars has novels. :D

For me: Mercenary or bounty hunter.

Can I do comic books? I'd like to be the Imperator of Zan, or at least a minor Prince...

Novels...hmm...a Culture Mind fits me, I think.

Culture drone. You can do more than humans but you don't have the responsibilities of a Mind.

You say you want to be one when you don't know what they do? Sheesh.

Anyways,

The people of the Second Foundation were trained telepaths. They could read human minds, and adjust them when necessary. Apart from that, they have no other abilities, no cool telekinesis or anything like that.

You picked without knowing?

They are basicly strong telepaths, they can control people's emotions and wills however they are forbbinded to do as such and reside on Trantor the Farming planet

Hmm.. this is a quite difficult question to answer..

Sci-fi : I guess I would want to be in the Star Wars setting somewhere. Likely as a rather shady character in a backwater planet trying to build my own little empire :D by any means.... (Thoug I would not make big waves in the hope of beeing ignored as no threat to anyone really important)

Fantasy : Well picture random tiny building that seemingly no one notices. This building could be in almost any random town in any fantasy setting. And I would be the totally uninteresting person working on some crazy scheeme that no sane person ever would acknowledge. I fit in everywhere :) 8)

1984: Big Brother, Goldstein fore some reason I think Goldstein is relly Big Brother  , or O'Brien with the highest access levels of the Inner Party.

Star Wars: Grand Admiral Lennox, self explainatory.

I'd probably be arguing about trade policy in SW somewhere.

Lets see, if I can't get away with being a child of Amber, then I'd go with being a minor political functionary somewhere in the Old Republic.
