After years of never thinking it could happen to me it finaly did this afternoon

I relised I had filled up my Hardrive

I went from Dos 3.0 to Windows 2000k + Linux always under ten Gigabytes at all times even counting anything like porn/mp3s and full length Divx movies...
And today I found I had less than 200 Megabytes left on my 45 Gig Hardrive

wow... Never though it would happen to me

Well long story short I cleared out two gigs worth of trash and placed an order for a pair of 120 Gigabyte Drives  for total less cost then the 45 Gig drive put me back for orginoaly

An't Tecnology Grand?

My brother's new computer is a 2.7Ghz P4 with 1024Mb RAM and a 150 GB HDD. And he's five years younger than me. And I only have a P3 900.

THE BASTARD!!! When I was his age the best computers were the pentium 133!

You think your computer is pitiful? The main computer is 266 mhz with 96 MB ram and 6GB HD, while my personal computer is 120MHz with 48MB ram and 1.2GB HD.

You don't have to hear my brother teasing me with endless benchmark tests, and coming to my room and laugh while my computer is still loading a network game.

I think I'll just add 512 MB more of RAM.

Thanks to the joys of CDR's and overclocking, I still have space left on my vintage 6.5 gig hardrive and can still sqeeze another year of use out of my computer. Next year...next year I will have the computer to end all computers...oh yes...I will indeed. :D

Goddamn it. Lend me 1,093 dollars so I can buy a halfway decent computer. My current one is a shitty Pentium II 350 with 128 Mgs of RAM, one 40 gig harddrive, one fairly old CD-RW, and a 40x CD-ROM, and a video card who's company went out of business three years ago.

If you lend me the money, I'll be able to get a computer with a real Pentium 4 processor, a DVD-ROM, and a DVD-RW. It'll be so pretty...

...so....pretty...

Hmmm, well, I'm having a groovey time on the Timex Sinclair 1000 Emulator (a nifty website), which sparks memories of my first computer system. With the expansion pack, I could raise the system to a whopping 16K of RAM!

I hate it when I get a new computer that I'm bragging about and then a few months later it's nothing special add on a few more months its backward technology and add a few more technology and I could sell it for $60. Awww back in the day when I would brag about my 400 mhz pentinum II with a lil over 7 gb for the hard drive 64? mb of ram computer.

I have a computer downstairs with a measly 3GB HD. That's pitiful by 1995 standards! The one I'm on now has 20GB.

Computer changew a lot. By the time you set up your new computer, it's obselete and needs to be replaced.

I have:

500mhz AMD K6-2
128megs RAM
10gig HDD
8x/4x/32x CD-R/CD-RW drive
100meg Zip drive
56k modem (Which I don't use anymore but is still in there since I now use broadband through ethernet card)
Voodoo 3 2000
17 in monitor

At times I've felt pretty obsolete. Of course, in our house we have 4 PCs and 2 laptops so I guess that kinda evens things out.
