Fathers, fathers-to-be, and males in general, if you had a daughter and she brought home a guy for prom, would you fuck with him?

My dad always had this fantasy of putting a giant block of ice in the doorway to our home. When my sister's date came over, he'd have his Tae-Kwon-Do uniform on, he'd open the door and say something like, "Oh, is this in your way?" and proceed to smash said block of ice. Of course, my sister wouldn't have any of it.

I mean it's the ultimate in being the alpha male in the family isn't? Screwing with some one elses mind, letting them know where they stand in relation to you.

For example; Greek tradition.

It's tradition for the brother/father/uncle of the bride to hit/slap the groom when presented to him at the engagement. When my sister got engaged, when the rings were being exchanged, I walked straight up to her fiance and just *thwap* slapped him one across the face. It shows him his place.

Nope, I'll let my hypothetical daughter mess with his mind. I'll have her say something like "I don't think you understand...I'm only going out with you so I can get to know your kid sister better. It's not about you...it's about your sister...."
