I thought that this would be appropriate, given all the political debates around here.
Who is the worse politician, and why?

Dubya, he's a complete idiot and is controlled by war-mongering power-hungry right wingers. Plus, he can't speak correctly.
Have a very nice day.

Al Gore -- he has delusions of adequacy.

I know they're both bad. The question is, which one is worse?

Well, from the other threads you could probably tell I think Gore is worse.

The Bland Idiot vs the Moron's moron?
Ummmm I chose the crud....uh the Idiot!!!
Discounting that moron he ran with...hell his ideas on religon never got to me as much as his overall need to blame the entertainment industry for bullshit about corrupting children...which is more likely an offshot of his beliefs.

Not directly. You may however, factor in the fact that they were stupid enough to work with their respective VP's.

Ok Cheney.... Can't think of much wrong for him but he's getting on in age thats at least half a strike
Liberman-The Young Earth Creationist, Fundmentlist, Friends with Jerry Falwel.... Three Strikes and thats not counting his free speach views or his Ban Guns stance(He favors the UK system of banning ALL weapons, Inculding Hunting Rifles and Shotguns as stated in 99)

Not to hijack but I don't see why people don't look at Australia as an example for gun reform policy.
Yes many weapons are illegal. But if you NEED a weapon, you can get one, be it for hunting, target shooting, farm-work or another legitimate purpose.
Those who want guns for self-defense or "just because" have a harder time but can still get them. Plus with psyche testing and cooling off periods as part of the process I find it to be a good system.
Its not perfect, but it is certainly better than either of the extremes.

Back to the topic at hand, Liberman also is noted to side with the RIAA and Recorderd Companys and Supported a Bill that (Thankfuly) died that would have allowed the Recording Companys to Hack your Computer to see if you had illegle Files on it...

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
My precious mp3s!
I would have laughed if they had tried to have me taken to court over something like that though.
The vast majority of my mp3s are from my own CD collection. I just have them on my HDD because, hell I only have 2 CD drives and LOT of games to play.

As I understood it, before victory Shrubs had been out of the States twice; once to Mexico and once to Canada. Considering that America IS the most powerfull nation on this Earth, and that they ARE influential in all of it's workings, it is a very scary thing...

Acutal they don't have to as what they do or acutal what they said they wanted to do was give them the right to disable your computer and bill you for any MP3s they found at all(As the Bill Remvoed the Right to Make 1 Backup Copy IE an Mp3 on your computer)
And Liberman supported it, it died thankfuly around 9 to 80

Yeah, but we must ask the question. Is John Howard any better?

Oh my god. That is fucking horrific. Removing the "backup" law...
I have mp3s on my system. The CDs that they are from are less than 4 metres away. I don't have Kazaa, don't have Napster (anymore)... I want to see their arguement.
This stuff just reminds me of my time with a "Free Kevin" bumper sticker.

You know what's funny about the whole Howard situation (besides having a scweaky wimpy dwarf as PM)? Australia is ruled by a liberal government (blue) but all the states (last time I checked, comming to a year now) have Labour in power (Red). It's a consipiracy by the monarchists!

Whats even more amusing is the constant undermining of the power of the G-G by John Howard. Little John is talking all of the ceremonial duties etc and slowly eroding the position.
My conclusion: John Howard is a closet Republican (no not THAT kind of Republican you dumb Americans).

Sorry...
My two cents on the issue...
Both parties in the US at the moment have atrocious leadership. But I believe that even despite Lieberman, the democrats have my support.
Most of this is to do with the shitty treatment of Australia by the US since Bush came to power. Butchering our trade and demanding (and getting) our support in military campaigns.
