For some reason, this reminds me of Alabama's victory over the Miami Hurricanes in 1992. In Florence, Alabama, a bunch of happily drunk Tide fans stumbled into a quicky mart to get more alcohol and stopped. They saw a man with a Miami shirt. One of the drunk Bama fans staggers over to the man with the Miamis shirt and says, "H-hey buddy... You uh Miami fan?"

The Miami fan says, "Yes, I am."

The drunken Bama fan gets this amusingly sorrowful look on his face and says to the Miami fan, in all seriousness, "Damn! It must suck to be you..."

Not that I'm advocating saying such a thing to the fellow you folks mentioned, but I thought the story amusing...
