Ok... so if you have anything nice to say about anyone that you want to share, put it here.

Remember, this thread is only for fgalkin-niceness, so don't say anything nasty. no backhanded compliments are allowed... just fgalkin-like niceness.

Now, to start the ball rolling, fgalkin is so nice, Patrosjko's fun, Stofsk is a great listener, Ace Pace and Shroomman are great to talk to... Well, everyone's great really.

Oh, and mike rocks because he provides us with an entertaining, educational and free service cheers to you!

Now, keep the compliments coming! No compliment is too big or too small!

Ghost Rider said some nice and encouraging things to say to me during the course of the day, and he's in general a swell upstanding guy, who if I knew in person I'd buy a drink for, because why not? I want someone to buy me a drink.

Stofsk is very smart, clear, and doesn't hold grudges.

Lus is a class act all the way. A kinder soul I never have met.

KAN provides sickening entertainment and images of his crazyness all the time. More fun than a barrel of monkeys.

For most part I like loads of people.

I'd easily buy drinks for :Kuja, Connor, Keevan, Dalton(even a donut), Wilson, verilon, Stravo, Knife, Eleas, Tysroc, Wilkens, Crown, Olrik, Chardok, Superman, and Stofsk. Fun bunch of guys...different tastes and ideas each, but I like chatting with them.

Buy a rose for: Zaia, Innerbrat, and Lindar. They are sweet gals.

Some other nice people but don't chat: Lus, Tevar, fgalkin, and a couple others.

Chris O farrell has to be one of the most decent Aussie I ever met online or offline, and I appreciate AV for entertaining my questions.

Lindars awesome to chat to, and fun to tease ;) Semi-aunt Lindar :)

Dalton is probebly the coolest NYer ever.

Kernel is the geek god :) and awesome to chat too.

Shroom has great idea's, great for a good read.

Praxis is great, never insulting.

Cyran, allways god for a laugh.

KAN...is well... KAN.

Rogue's great for obscure information.

White haven, useful dude, even if he steals idea's :P

And everyone on my contact list, your all great.

I really like GR and Dalton, they're my heroes.
Image

I also love all the American football fanatics, wankers and fanboys out there, "ya new whoo ya ahh."
Image

Also Zaia, cause she thinks I'm funny.
Image

The Mess guys are great, too; you couldn't hope for a nicer, more supportive group of guys. The HABites and their fanatical devotion to THE GREAT LEADER (of pwning DOOM™)
Image

Rogue 9's always good for a laugh, Robby Walper, a good guy in my book, if a bit deluded (But aren't we all?).
Image

Shep, despite what some may say, is a good guy as well, I enjoy talking to him. Captain Cyran, always cracks me up. Something about Italics always does. Batman and his alter ego Alfred...I almost think it may be the same person but.....nah... Superman and his broccoli stories... Also, any of Durandal's posts are good reads. Lord Poe has always got great insights into Star Wars, and who COULDN'T like a KISS fanatic?

Image

Stofsk... all our friends from outside the US are great for giving us myopic aericans a glimpse into the world at large without having to view it through the lens of CNN and Fox News. Thanks to all of them.

Shep is cool just for the puppy thing.
The Shadow (edit: Star on IM; confused here  ) and Ace Pace are just great people to have as friends.
And Mike Wong for making all of the posts on this thread possible.

As an aside, am I the only one ever struck by how much of an impact you can have on others? Sometimes people you've only known for a few weeks even. It's like "wow, um okay but I'm just me! Don't know why that's so special?"

*conjures flowers for Lusankya, Velvet, Mrs. Kendall and Lindar dear*

These wonderful ladies always make my day.... :D

Then there's Ace... Rogue 9... oh yes, and Slartibartifast. How can you object to a guy that stays up past midnight trying to pry a PowerPoint off a school website the night before a test? :)

Hmm, I'm reminded of my annual "Favorite denizen" threads, but having something like that more often never hurts.

Let's see:

Zaia is one of my all time favorite people, I can't remember a time talking to her that hasn't put me in a very good mood. :D

Lusankya and Innerbrat are both great people, even though I don't know them that well.

The Mess members are an awesome bunch, one can always count on getting support there. Rob Wilson and Knife get special mention.

Vympel, Stravo, Crown, Colonel Olrik and RedImperator are all people I count as friends, despite never having met them face to fce (note to self: must remedy this as soon as circumstances permit)

Kaljamaha and Ravencrow are the only people on SDnet I've met IRL and they obviously rock. :D

Patrick Degan, Mike, Durandal and Kuroneko are among the sharpest minds I've ever encountered. So is Broomstick, come to think of it, so she belongs in this company as well.

Most impressive new denizen since last "Annual Favorite Denizen" thread is hands down PFC Brungardt. Very short time on the board, and he's made a very favorable impression, earning a green marker on the insta-recog radar (as opposed to "Who the hell was this person again?").

*looks slightly uncertain* You know, I’m not sure where to start, and that’s mainly because I would hate to forget anyone. Which happens to be something I’m very capable and likely to do, so before I begin, if I forget you, feel free to scold me about it.

~Kuja is always funny, and usually interesting to talk to. ~Zaia is beautiful and sweet and I don't know where I would be without her. @-\- :luv: :luv: ~Ghostie is totally Fantastic, and full of fun info ~Heru is always ready to chatterbox, Yay! ~Borkie is fun, and didna mind when I played with Hal (well I hope he didna) ~Dalton is interesting ~Velvet is a fantastic Artist @-\- ~Xal…is just Xal, which is a good thing. ~Cyran, is pretty nice, for a boy. ~Walper…another one that is what he is and I wouldna change him. ~Anic *grins* Makes me laugh ~Mrs. Kendall*hugs* Is my Ma so gotta :luv: her too!*grin*@-\- ~Lt. Dan is a doll to talk to ~SeveredDivine I LUFF YOU!!!:luv: @-\- ~…

OK..well…*hrmmms…* If I keep going I'm going to lose my mind(What little I've got left anyway). How about I just say that Every single one of you is wonderful and that am glad to have ended up here? Thanks for everything.

Personally, I think I'm one of the most underrated posters ever. ;)

Kuroneko's one smoove mammajamma, imo.

Imagine this in a Shao Kahn voice from Mortal Kombat: "Zaia wins"

I wub Metrion Cascade because she wubs me. :luv: And the same for fey.

Seebian Wurm goes without saying so I'm not going to mention him.

Rob Wilson is a stand up guy, though that's not to be confused with a stand up comedian.

I also love watching the change in tone in Durandal's posts between dealing with board nobodies and Mike, amusing as hell.

edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention Keevan, he's a cool guy, despite his complaints about philosophy ;).

I'd like to give the thumbs-up to The Line of Damnation gang, Imperial Overlord, Typhonis, Tacticus, Pcm, Stormbringer, Yo-Bear, and those who played before. Good players, with whom I've whiled away man a night. (And zombied through more than a few days as a result)

And of course, the almighty NecronLord, for creating and running it.

Connor for his incredible contributions to the 40K threads going on over in OSF. He's patient, thoughtful, and articulate.

(Although by way of avatar association, it's just odd to be see a post coming from Connor McCloud that references gigatons and terajoules. Messes with the head, it does.)

Nietzchean Uber-Amoeba, fun and interesting over in Testing.

Lus, Lady of the Garter, Ace, Moku, and Stofsk, for the general hilarity we're having with the Knights thing.

KAN, for continually redetermining just what the 'lowest common denominator' is.

Dalton was really nice for shifting over my email.

Zaia, for only assimilating my leg. Isn't she sweet?

Shep, though he'll never forgive me for choosing hot lesbian lust over concealed submachine guns.

Col. Crackpot, RedImperator, Elfdart, Queeb, Chardok and the others of the fanatical football section.

Coyote, despite his not being a fanatical football fan.

Robert, for having nice soft hair that's always easy on the knuckles when I give him noogies.

His Divine Shadow, for being a cool dude.

Stravo, for usurping Kirk in my mind just like he did for Imperial Overlord.

And other people. God knows, I talk to everybody. Just a cool crowd.

Oh, and fgalkin, for inventing the concept of 'nice'. I don't know what the world did before he came along.

And of course, Einhander- not with us now, but not forgotten, Sea Skimmer, Batman and Alfred, for providing my sig quotes.

Many of the people, a good number mentioned already, are some of the most engaging, mature thinking, fun loving nerds I've met in my life. SD.net is filled with people who have been great to listen to, converse with, correspond with and end sentences in participles to.

Three cheers for SD.net, secular nerd paradise.
Special cheers for Aly, DP, and all the rest of my fellow SAS members and invaders.

I'd like to thank a number of the IoM vs. GE participants (I think you all know who you are) for making it one of the best IoM vs. threads I've ever read.

Stofsk is simply a great guy overall.

It's always a pleasure to chat with Mayabird.

Phong has patiently answered several tech questions I've asked him over the past several months, and for that he's earned my gratitude.

Rye is, to the horror of my genitals, absurdly good looking; were he a woman I'd probably be flirting with him.

Hmmm, this thread seems to run counter to the board's motto of 'mockery of stupid people' ... :?

But hey, when in Rome ...

Olrik is a great host, and very generous friend.

Edi knows the US Constitution better than anyone else I know, and I respect him.

Stofsk is a generous friend, who I always appreciate chatting to.

Durandal is a great fan fic writer, I just wish he would write faster (that goes for RedImp too buy the way).

The Mods are all a bunch of great guys (not a suck up).

Connor (who I haven't seen posting for a while) is terrific and patient with me.

Ghost Rider, although he tries to pick on me, I know he's only joking.

Vympel, best co-mod that anyone could ever be assigned to the same forum with.

I am in awe, truly, at the following people's knowledge; Lord Poe, Illuminus Primus, Darth Servo, Broomstick, Adm Valdemar, Sir Nitram, Master of Ossus, MKSheppard (hell the entire member listing of the HAB).

And Mike is great for creating this marvelous place in cyberspace.

This community is truely great, and please don't think for a second that if I didn't mention your name it means that I don't have something nice to say to you too, it's just that the post would be too long.

Oh and yes; Hail! To the GREAT LEADER of the HAB!

Oooh, and a special shout out to fgalkin and Lusankya (the muse and instigator of this thread).

Oh and Zaia and IB, 'cause I like to let the chicky's know that I think about them.

And now I feel bad 'cause I know I forgot people! :(

THIS THREAD SUCKS! </half joke>

Mr. Wong is a fucking genius and I find his complete lack of political correctness admirable.

I someday hope to become half the teller of tales that Stravo is.

Shep, while insane, is an excellent horseman and I like the guy.

JME2, for he writes the most detailed fics I've ever read and is just simply a good guy.

Rogue 9 and U235 are just great guys whom I'd buy a drink for (if I were old enough to buy people drinks).

Dalton, for also being a good horseman and being an all around good guy.

I happen to like Walper, even though some people here don't.

Stofsk for being a good guy and managing to keep pretty upbeat despite having lots of shit happen to him.

And, of course, Lusankya, for making this thread so we could stop insulting each other and being rude sons of bitches for once. It's nice to be nice every now and then. :)

The 40k crowd - cool dudes all, even if I don't know many of them very well.

Connor - Again, just a cool dude.

Shep - fun in a "homicidal sociopath" kind of way. :D

fgalkin - He's Russian!

Darth Wong - I find myself reading his threads even if I'm normally not interested in the subject.

Dalton - Ditto.

Hamel and XaLEv are both their own little breed of insanity. iT'z beRk xaOs!

Stravo - Self-explanatory.

I've only been here a short time, but...

Kuroneko is a brilliant man. I am staggered by the depth and understanding in his posts.

BohemianFey reminds me so much of my sister, whom I love dearly... she is so artistic and accepting.

Justforfun brings reason, insight and compassion to any thread. I admire him a great deal. The same goes for Zaia.

Rye, for someone relative young, has so much understanding. (you're really cute, too... I can't believe I just said that)

For me, Stravo represents the search for truth. I love his posts..

I could go on and on....
