THis happened a few days ago here in Houston...

Especially if you live in Texas, it's never a good idea to attempt breaking into someone's house. You will most likely be shot dead. Or torn to shreds by a dog or two. Idiot. 8)

Hmm...all I have is an old single shot .22 in the closet which I'm not in the habit of carrying around...

At my friend's school his old teacher pulled out a 357 Magnum and said he would kill anyone that messed with her. This is in one of the quietest towns in America mind you.

We have:

1 air pistol
2 hunting knives
2 swords
2 BB rifles
1 .22 bolt-action rifle
1 20 gauge shotgun
1 12 gauge shotgun

The .22 rifle and 12 gauge shotgun are in my room closet, about 10 feet behind me

And for several years the .22 rifle used to hang on my wall, in plain view

In other words:

Fuck with us and you die

I live in here in Houston, and fully support what happened. You don't try and enter someones home like that with no warning and at an odd time AND after making death threats...Idiot should have known better.

I would figure most of this stuff can occur anywhere in the southwest...

I've heard of enough of this in the north too...

That and I will still support and respect a persons home and their right to defend it and their family.

Well, most firearms are sort of highly illegal where I am, and there is even talk of semi-auto pistols being banned.

As for firearms all I have is a homemade soft-drink cannon. Can launch a full 375ml aluminium can over 500 metres, so yeah, I have a mortar.

A H&K MP-7 is high on the wish list, though...

WTF? I am male. But the guy was still an idiot. And it's much better that he doesn't spread his genetic material around if he's that stupid.

Dumbass kid deserved it, and I fully support shoot to kill laws where the bad guy is trying to break into your own home. Kids should not be running around at night trying to gain entrance into other people's homes, hell, they shouldn't even be thinking of doing a break and enter. When they know that they're gonna be shot on sight they'll be having some second thoughts, and when they get shot & killed, problem solved. No lengthy court trials, no slap on the wrist penalties or any of that stuff, the perps will just get removed from the gene pool.
