Question about college classes and high school transcript

Do summer classes taken at college count the same way (A=4, B=3, etc) on the high school transcript?
(I live in california, btw)

For high school, or college?
In general, you get credit for classes taken outside your primary institution, but your grades don't count towards your GPA.

Its been so long I dont remember anymore. Have you tried calling one of the local UC or CSU campus' to find out ?
