Hello folks. I'm tring to ( yes once again) prove to Lord Wong that I am needed as an admin. so I'm taking a poll of Sd.Neters to see how many of you want someone else with the power to ban promote etc., etc. The question is, " Will David abuse new power?" To that I say no! All I really want to do is be capible of changing things if needed or desired without bugging the Dark Lord. So what do you think folks?

What? David is being promoted to admin?! And I can't get my custom title! No, I say!

And here are the actual reasons why I'm opposed to this:
1) As Pablo has mentioned before, the risk of abuse of powers is too great. If David gets the power to ban, we might end up with the situation we have on SB.com, where one gets banned for disagreeing with a mod, or less (I remeber Sheridan being banned for mocking HBMC's "BYE").

2)The bannings on this site are customarily handled by a vote of users. It was like that since the beginning, and there is no reason to change that, for the reasons stated in point 1.

3)Lord Wong is the owner of the site, and he should have the power to make the ultimate descision. Other users, be they mods or not simply do not have the right IMO.

4)There are other mods just as important as capable as David. Why should he be the one to get the promotion?

So, unless David bribes me in some way, my vote is NO.
