Now, you know that by the combined ASVS/SD.Net Union Rules, section 9(1)c,
you cannot post this

Specifically it states:

"Only Sheppard may make posts about criminals being shot by armed
citizens"

Fight crime responsibly:

SHOOT BACK!

I think that's what you said, right, Shep?

You're in volation of the union rules, as only I may say that,
as the designated "right wing nut" of SD.Net and ASVS. So
pony up your $200 fine and make it payable to:

Sci-Fi Debaters Local #223 : ASVS/SD.Net chapter

EDIT: sorry, but I'm just poking fun at the unions here...my dad has
had to deal with those assholes in the past...

Touché. But I think the sexual innuendo inherent in "Willy Head" is going to let me escape. And, for that matter, prevent this from turning into a gun debate.

But, seriously - It was nice those two finally had their criminal careers ended. And it IS something of epic. I'm surprised there isn't a Willy Nelson song about 'em yet.. You quite often don't hear about any criminals who spend that long avoiding capture.

Of course, they usually die like this much sooner. Curious - They must have been good. That's the thing that stood out.

Sorry for stealing your line, Shep. IMO guns should be kept out of the civilian populace as much as possible, but once criminals have guns, arm the populace, better to let the bastards learn not to rob the hard way.

And no one had better forget section 118(3)

"Only Sea Skimmer may post vs. debates, which are so obscure while involving real life that only one other person knows what the fuck he is talking about."

Skimmer, are you or were you involved in the military at some time or other?

Hmmm, How about Tegethoff vs Thrawn?

I mentioned to Mark About my 7-11 experience.

Of course Southland Corparate has no made my method a fireable offense.

Simple I just gave the cops all of my expired food product, and free coffee.

Enjoy.

I've been 17 for four months. So that would be a no.

Thawn is screwed if he runs into a fleet of obsolete Clone war Era ships and Chimaera loses maneuvering and gets ram... Wait a minute.... *Thinks about Dark Force Rising*

However I wont fine you since someone else likley knows of Tegethoff, even if they missed the Lissa thread. Shame AH didn't hold onto his flagship. Who cares what Italy thinks!

I assume Thrawn would have the handicap of commanding the Marina Regina at the historical battle of Vis (Which is another name of Lissa) where Tegethoff's rams won their glory?

The actual thread I was referencing was the carrier RAN Melbourne with a ram and water line armor vs. the MR.

However I would place Thawn with the Italian fleet for Lissa. Other wise where really screwing Tegethoff. Though I belive that his ship handeling, while limited by communiaction diffaculties would be sufficent to take advantage of his massive firepower advantage. And also avoid being hit and crippled at close range by Tegethoffs fleet's large, but weak broadsides.

Do you mean evil military tech or every military tech? The first would be true, more recently I'm reading more about Russian tanks and PLAN missiles then say USAF bombers. If its the second, my biggest interest is naval from about 1500 on. I could never stay as well informed as some here and else where are on more specific topics.

I get it.

Now could you tell me more about the battleship railgun the Navy is supposed to have?
