What happened to the snipers?

It was the same thing everyday. Sniper terrorizes Maryland. Snipers leave message. Snipers captured. Snipers...gone?
What happend to the big media frenzy?
They should be at least covering the trial(s), but I have not seen anything in the newpaer about it. They were so intent on catching them, now that they are caught media coverage..... evaporates. I was seriously excepting a televised trial sponsored by a big company. True, the coverage before they caught was overwhelming and ridiculous. Now its gone. Poof. Thoughts?

Oh and the main reason they shut up...
They where wrong... not just kinda wrong.. EXTREMLY wrong

Snipers this Snipers that, if you listend to CNN before today you would have though these where a group of BRILLANT people who planned out everything to the fineist detail and had backup plans for everything, They would be Middle aged, White ,very dedicated and trained overseas

Instead we find two black guys driving around in a car just doing it randomly and looks like it was all to make a statment, oh and US Army trained

Indeed, the media is playing a game of: "cover up the fuck up." It's quite fun too watch, happens all the time.

Yep, everyday. Though the best ones are the ones they can' cover up and get flak for trying too. Example: Gore wins Florida.

I think it was a bad idea revealing the snipers to be black Muslims. Now, we'll have a bunch of riots everywhere, because some people don't want the snipers to be black Muslims.

Been weeks, no riots. Maybe once the verdict comes out, maybe.

There will sure as hell be riots if the fuckers are found "not guilty".

Perhaps "riots" are the wrong word. I think "lynch mob seeking out 14 people, the 2 released snipers, and the 12 jurors who acquited them" would be a much more accurate phrase.

Yes they did, The recount by the Libertairians came up with Bush winning as did the Offical Democratic Recount and the Media recount

About three months after the fact they knew Bush HAD acutaly won Florida

Anyway to the matter at hand its not like they good do anything after the fact... Besides Gore was the one "cheating" at the time by calling for a 3 County recount(All of which where solidly Democratic) instead of the LEGAL Statewide Recount, Whats funny is despite getting the ILLEAGLE(State-wide or nothing is the offical law) recount he STILL lost

I'd like to thank you, on behalf of the state of Maryland, for classing us as such. Why don't all of you who DON'T live here go back to not caring about the region (outside of capitol hill) and let us handle things. Besides you KNOW that Shep will keep you informed.
