Of coarse not. It is supposed to be 3x better than FOTR.

but from what I've seen of the previews and behind the scenes, it does look amazing.

The directer mentioned it in the "making of" videos on my dvd. And then, The Return of The King is supposed to be even better. But, thats still another year away.

My boyfriend is a MASSIVE Tolkien fan and LOTR got me hooked, so it's practically moot to ask if we're seeing it the first day....

I'm traveling over 1000 miles to be with some old collage and HS friends of mine to watch it on the 18th

I never go to the first showings anyway, waaay too crowded, I always see them a week after with the exception of Minority Report, Reign of Fire, 28 Days Later and DAD.

I unfortunatly told my family that I would wait to see it with them when I go home on the 20th for the holidays. But then again I got that free ticket with FOTR SE dvd.......

I never got to see the first one, so I'll wait a few weeks when the theaters are less crowded to see it.

Are there people that were camping out in front of the theater for weeks waiting to see it, like with AotC?

Me = college student. College student = no money. Me = no money. Me = going to see it in about six months when it gets to the dollar theatre.

I've been eyein' my desktop counter on Two Towers. Getting on down there. heh. I am really really hyped to go see it. I loved FotR. Whether it's shameful, or by luck I have not read anything. Neither the books, nor spoilers. I was actually held there by not knowing what was happening. I expect much the same from this movie. woot

Free ticket with FOTR DVD. Woo Hoo.

They're not showing it here yet (of course) but I might be willing to wait until it's on DVD or they show it on cable...
