What's your career choices for life?
And Grand Master Wong, what is it like, being an Impact Engineer?

My dream is to become an architect, and design an important building or monument.
If I don't get the cash to get the master's in Architecture, I'll go second as a Computer Graphics Designer. Taking drafting, art, and physics will help me create landscapes or buildings for games, so my previous career choice can help me here.

Finally, if something really screwed up happens, and I will go for Music. I've got 5 year on the cello.

My dream career is being a writer. Well, I already am I writer..let me rephrase that. My dream career would be to be able to make a decent living off my writing. So far, it hasn't paid very much.

I'm still working on it.

My dream career? No idea. In reality I'll probably be a lower middle class citizen. But I'd like to own a business that I don't need to work at all the time & employ other people to manage the business most of the time.
While I can be with my family.

Very easy: Rich Professional Slacker (Who gets all the coolest stuff, who's the one who drives inflation up, I do, I do...)

Unfortunately I'll probably end up as a menace to society (The Troll of the SD.Net message boards... "See me spam once again/ For ST rules / ISDs have no shields/ Janewad is cool..."

BTW, nobility is great because you can do whatever you want and you don't have to be any good at it in order to survive! You can just live off of your interest and if you REALLY want to be a writer or something you can do that to and never worry about how to pay the bills!

Software Engineer or novelist.

Novelist is a bit of a pipe dream really, I'm not all that great at writing anything other than whizz bang fight scenes and even then I'm not that good.

I'm gunning for a professorship at a reputable university. Get paid decently and be able to teach. Write my requisite book, and I'll be happy.

However, being as that's not a reality, nor are my other ideal jobs (multi-billionare tourist, professional paintball player, etc), I find that, when I take a look at what carreer I could be in, I'm overall happy with what I do now (computer tech). Though I'll admit that I made less then 1/2 of what I make now when I was a cook and I look back on those years and find that I was quite satisfied with my life as well.

Video game tester. I'll be paid to play video games and bitch about what sucks!

More specifically, I want to design video games. I have some ideas, and I pray they become reality. I also think I have potential in the comedy industry. All I need is someone who doesn't think I'm insane.

Designing games is hard. It's better to play-test them.

Find something that you like so much that you don't consider it a job when you get up in the morning.
