I told my mother I wasnt going to Texas with her. She got so pissed off. She tried telling me to go and saying I was immature and disobedient. GOD SHE PISSES ME OFF! But, she knows I am staying here in Plainfield, which is good because my father makes more money and this is where my friends are.

I think you made the right choice. Your mother will probably forgive you eventually, but leaving your friends your senior year of high school would hurt your friends deeply, and probably permanently.

Your mother is neither, for if she were a bitch, you would be a son of a bitch, which you are not (anymore). Neither is she an ass, for then you would be the son of an ass, and you do not bear any resemblence to a donkey.

A teacher I had once said something like:
Friends from high school...doubtful you'll keep them. People say, "Dude, let's all go to the same college!" and all, but it really doesn't happen. They just sort of fade away, and only a few will stay.
The real friends, the ones who will stick with you forever, are made IN college. They are the ones who will be there always.
That's what the teacher said, and he's a good teacher at that.
Hence, I say that the friends you'll be staying with your senior year...you probably won't see after that. Why stay with your dad to be with your friends for just one more year, when you probably won't see them again after that?
As my teacher said, the real friends are all made in college. I respect your decision--just wanted to get my opinion out.

when you´re at college you´ll notice that your mom is neither an ass nor a bitch, because she makes damn good food.

My mom once threatened to not let me go on a trip to Canada with my singing group, which we'd already payed about 20 bucks for. Just because I couldn't find something nice to put my good clothes in.

Ten years after high school wether or not you were with your friends will not matter. Its history. But it is important now, and I had a similar situation. If you can stay with your dad, thats cool.
I wish I had moved in with my dad at 18 instead of 21. 3 years of pure unhappiness following my mom around.
As to making friends in college thats generally true. Me, Im a little different. I didnt make and friends at San Jose State that I hung out with outside of school. But its a commuter campus so that is not uncommon. I still hang out with people I knew as far back as middle school.
It sucks having a parent get angry cause you want to live where you are comfortable.

That might have been a valid complaint a month ago, however since then he has stopped being a dumbass. Now you only reveal your own stupidity by flaming him. JFC, why do you have to keep this vendetta going? You're acting like God!
(yes, that was an insult)

Woah thanks dude...
*Meanders off somewhere*
Actually, I used to think my Mom was a pain in the ass. But ever since I tried not to piss people off, it hasn't been really troublesome... She doesn't restrict my freedom much, and I don't place much demands on her...
