it is possible. the mobo in my #3 comp was salvaged from a mud puddle behind a shop after it had been there for days. i cleaned it off, let it dry for about 2 days, tested it and it came right up. works flawlessly so far too and it's got a number of hours on it since i got it. CMOS battery's still good too, which is amazing considering that muddy water is rather nicely conductive.

nive, I guess he now has a paper wieght...

Then again, When I was living in the Desert, I did some very drastic things to my computer to keep it running in 130*f temps. (Or should I say, I actually attached a radiator to the external fan, and used CO2 to try and keep the whole case cool.
