here's mine:

I don't have a webcam, so I'll just say that my comp is untouched, unlike Hyperion's

If it didn't, it probably wouldn't last long...

Mine looks like a lamp (it's a brand-new iMac)

Mine looks similar to Hyperion's but is at most half as powerful (but only half the weight since there's no weird prototype stuff in it.)
Name: Der Fragmachine 2 (DFM 1 blew a hard drive, plus it wasn't even half as powerful as this one anyway)
CPU: 400MHz Pentium 2 (Would rather be at least a Gigahertz AMD Thunderbird)
RAM: 192 MB PC100 (scavenged from DFM 1)
Hard Drive 1: Maxtor 9.54GB codename Little Boy
Hard Drive 2: Maxtor 57.2GB codename Fat Man
CDROM: 45X something that sounds like a chainsaw when it revs up! (also looted from DFM 1's bloated, flyblown corpse)
Grafix: GeForce2 MX 64MB (hey it lets me play Quake 3 at 40-90 FPS)
Sound: Lord knows but it sounds good!
Power Supply: 200 Watts (POS Ugghhh!)
Case: What Case? I don't need no stinkin' case!!
Input: Standard keyboard and a Logitech Optical Maus that gives me a +50 To Hit, +40 Dexterity, and +90 Accuracy bonuses in Quake 3!
Monitor: 15 inch and has a ton of adjuster buttons on the bottom!
Operating System: Win2K Pro in serious need of a reinstall due to being mortally wounded by a bad
WildTangent Spyware attack.
Other Software: Quake, Quake 2, Quake ]|[ Arena, WarCraft 3, Unreal Tournament 2K3 (well it will be when I reinstall Windows), Winamp, Trillian, Mozilla, AVG Antivirus, Micro$uck Office Suite (it came with the Win2K install; this ship was obviously a biz drone in a previous life), Kerio Firewall, at least half the stuff listed
here, Kazaa Lite, WinMX, and lots of little gizmos that make life easy for me and HELL for any st00pid n00b/hacker/spyware-installer/spammer/virus/tr0gen/etc. that tries to sneak on here...

LoL!
I was talking about this with someone earlier today. Mine looks like a stock off the shelf computer (of course it's not). What the discussion really got going about, was when I bought the case I was just looking to get a case and be done with it. A few weeks later I saw the cases that have fucking clear sides, and neon damn lights in them and shit. Needless to say I wan't to happy because I wanted that bitch to look wierd. Not only that, those cases had vents on the sides where I could have plunked a damn punisher or spiderman grill cover. these things are like damn cars.

i'm gonna be putting one of those lighted clear fans on the front instead of that black thing that's there now.

Now that would be classic. I wonder if adding any lights would cause it to heat up. Maybe I could get a liquid cooled computer.

*smacks forehead* OUCH...
actually no it wouldn't cause an overheat, the techs they use to light comps are "cold light" techs like CCFT, EL, and LED lights, they don't generate heat. now if you're making fun of my external internal cooling fan i'm just gonna have to hurt you...

No, there was an earlier post about liquid cooled comps people have. Now I know the big rigs in test facilities and what not use liquid nitrogen I believe, so it's not as far fetched to me. That's something I didn't think about though is LEDs and similar lights. What about something fiber optic?

I dare not post mine, for it is EVIL!
It's mere reproducted image will curse ye forever more, for it bears the brand of COMPAQ!!

i think liquid cooling is what i'm going to do with my next comp, though i don't OC, better cooling means better performance.
yes, fiberoptic works wonderful for lighting if you rig it up right... i for one have a 1000' roll of the stuff if anyone's interested in buying some at $1 a foot and s/h.

Oh really?
I don't overclock at all. I just don't know enough first of all to do it, but I know that it can fuck things up. My comp is unreliable at best.

Indeed, though its expesnive for even the moderate idiot can figure out how to put a Koolance system togther
Easy to put togther plus helpful tech support means even an idiot knows how to hook up which hoses where and to check for leaks before installing the computer(Infact its one of the directions you instal the system first then just let the CPU cooler dangle then start it running, if all works right the Cooler gets... umm cool and no leaks devolpe)
The Cooler Electronics are(To a point) the better they do, the longer they last
Why do you think they Supercool Crays?

Mine is a regular computer, except for the hundreds of the Pokémon "taps" that I glued around the screen and CPU.
If you don't know what Pokémon is, I envy you.
If you don't know what I mean by "taps" they are round cardboard thingies slightly larger than a coin, that you are supposed to throw at other "taps". Or your dog. Or people. They have different Pokémon printed in each one along with their name and social security number.
I got them from a certain brand of junk food (Cheez Curlz clone), and I couldn't figure out what to do with them. The positive part is that they scare people away in my workplace (yeah I have them glued there too)
Anyway my home computer is a Celeron 500 with 256mb RAM and other random crap.

The one I'm on is black, has a 20 GB HD, and has some sort of elbow rest in fornt of the keyboard. I have a 26K connection, made even shittier by the fact I only have one phone line in my house.

ROFLOL!!!
btw, i think my mom put a mirror in front of #2 this morning, damned recalcitrant hunk of junk won't boot... and it ate the 20gb WD hard drive... (it was shaky anyway, more damned RMA's to do)
