WTF wierd power failures

My house seems to be getting wierd power failures. I was already typing this once and my computer turned off and came right back on in the middle of it. WTF I have no idea what is going on. I am wondering if its related to the fires nearby.

Um...that would be your first clue. Might have hit a transformer or something.

Ah just heard from someone on ICQ that a power station in Homebush (yes hahaha typical Aussie name) is on the fritz. We're having really bad fires. Right now it looks like a bomb went off because the smoke is blocking out the sun- everything's ... orange.

Ive seen pictures of wildland fires in Australia, they burn pretty hot and nasty.
Same kind of problems where in California but yours are worse.
