It seems that...

For males, at least, whenever you tack on, "If ya know what I mean!" to ANYTHING, it will become sexual innuendo...I shall demonstrate.

"Yah Bob, that's a nice bowl, if ya know what I mean."

I call for an investigation into this odd occurrence in male humanity.

Is it even possible to rationalize male behaviour?

Of course not, which is why I'm wondering about Sienthal's attempt to do so.

I think all the sexual innuendo that goes around is more a result of society and culture, rather than gender or hormones.

Perhaps you fail to realize that to a guy everything is sexual. Tacking on the "if you know what I mean" only highlights that, it doesn't create it.

I've know this for a long time as would anyone else who ever watched "Who's line is it anyway?" and thier "If you know what I mean" game

If it's a male that is saying it, if you know what I mean.

It is my theory that anything, no matter how inane, can sound kinky if you change your voice enough

"Wash my dishes" can be kinky.

You obviously have never attempted to rationlize a woman before. It ver, very hard.
Like trying to understand all the techo=babble on Trek.

Don't you dare! Not even women understand women. So just drop it, you'll fail.

I never said I was trying to understand them; I gave up a long time ago.

--Both male and female behavior is easy enough to rationalize. People seem incapable of using standard communication methods (i.e., talking plainly to each other) and resort to inuendo, flirting, etc. etc. I find this extremely agravating (since my communication skills in that area are abismal). Why shouldn't people just be able to say something such as ... Hi, I'm ______, I find you attractive and have x, y, and z to offer. ... (information exchange, but party #2 not interested) ... Well if your not interested in a significant relationship I up for a fling too.
-The reason things are not straight forward are that people don't respond well to directness. Males don't like taking risks (since females are merciless) and females enjoy the flirting and inuendo.

Blasphemous! Of course we understand ourselves. And if you take the time, you will find that you can understand us too. I used to take my guy friends out shopping with me and they'd ask me probing questions about women, and after enough outings together (classes for "Kristin's School of the Reversal of Gender-Impairment" usually last approximately four weeks), the guys actually DO understand women. So, ha. You just haven't found the right teacher yet!

Zaia's post count is 666 as of now. Is this just a coicidence or is this a sign that women are evil and she is playing with the minds of males on this board by trying to make them believe women can be understood...

P.S. -- Read the wink before getting all pissed off...

Can you show me a right one...because so far I have 12 different interpretations of women's actions and apparently even when I'm doing the right thing, I am doing it in the wrong way(and no, not sex! :P ).

Buying gifts becomes a new and different type of hassle.

Not only is adding "If you knmow what I mean" going ot make it sound sexual, just about any phrase can be reworded so it has something to do with sex. Also, thanks to TV we have about 500 words for "penis".

Damn straight! They're working hard so you don't get left without a "wang" on hand when your turn to mudsling is up.

'A right one' meaning a right teacher? Come on over, 'Kristin's School for the Reversal of Gender-Impairment' is always open! :D
