How much Windows 2000 sucks my ass. It takes forever to load anything, and decides when AIM is going to work for me and when it is not, not the server. FUCK WIN2K!!!

Just the fact that I had to restart the comp to restore AIM...TrailerParkJawa wrote:Ever you ever thought to blame AIM ? Your ISP ? Your install?
Not even Windows 95 will do that Verilon, don't be so quick to blaim the operating system, Just like when I stub my toe at night I don't rase a fist to the celing and scream DAMN FRENCHYS! no that would be Insane, the French had nothing to do with the toe-stubing and Windows 2k has nothing to do with your problemHow much Windows 2000 sucks my ass. I have boxes of the things! Howver they are all in Lego-sized peaces so if you want to try and weld them togther and hope to get a working electronic device... be my guest(btw, anyone have a spare ATA-66 PCI hard drive controller i could buy? the one in my #2 comp went tits up)
I've never had that problem with Win2K. AIM is just a piece of horseshit anyway. I'm more inclined to blame the network or your install of AIM. What version are you using?verilon wrote:How much Windows 2000 sucks my ass. It takes forever to load anything, and decides when AIM is going to work for me and when it is not, not the server. Woot! No joke, that is the best piece of software I ever downloaded. Xanadu (a translator program) is a distant second. It gives access to the following IM programs: MSN, ICQ, IRC, AIM, and Y!. Best of all, there's still a free version on www.trillian.cc, version .74. I still use .73, since the new one removed the names of the messengers from the bottom buttons, which I like. Updates have slowed since the Pro version came out.Howedar wrote:Trillian!
Just save the .73 skin, upgrade and then replace the .74 skin with it...The Dark wrote:Woot! No joke, that is the best piece of software I ever downloaded.
