So, my best friend directed me to this band called "Da Vinci's Notebook." (Yah, if you thought this was going to be some intelligent discussion about Leo, I'm terribly sorry to disappoint you). Their music is absolutely hilarious, and since I really can't force any of you to download their music, I thought I'd post the lyrics to one of their songs. Obviously some of its charm will be lost since this the music half is missing, but I want to try to spread the word.

This is called "Title of the Song," and it's totally the formula to all boy-band love songs. It's absolutely HILARIOUS--they sing it as a boy band too. Here are the words:

PS--I had to dictate the lyrics myself since they aren't well-known enough to be on the lyrics sites (the ones I checked, anyway). So, I hope at least someone reads it and gets a laugh!

LOL...ah always nice to see people to strike against these teenybobber .

What's great is that we could use the lyrics as a formula to create a whole slew of teenybopper songs, and sing in four part harmony all the way to the bank!

The only thing missing was the over-the-top, technique over talent, full throttle emotional singing that's so typical of today's teenybopper singers.

The lyrics are funny, but their performance is what makes it.

It reminded me of a short film I saw on a Playboy Laserdisc a long time ago (staying up late at dad's) about a couple meeting in a bar and eventually going home together. But instead of normal dialog, they said what they were saying. Things like, in the love scene, "crying out name of diving maker" and "grunting like an animal". haha wish that was still around, it was hee-larious.

Oh, I was just playing around. Most of the guys here (myself included) are quite enamored by Kelly's kitsune abilities and Zaia's Psychotic Psychopathic Rampagin' Femme Fatale (TM) powers. Naturally, some of the fellas are quick to anger with jealousy, and also act like big brothers when anyone messes with (or flirts with) our esteemed lady members and I was playing along. Things gets a little out of hand at times, but it's mostly all for fun.

Excellent! I noticed in your sig that you are interested in things Irish; you might want to check out a song of theirs called "Another Irish Drinking Song." Not quite as funny as the performance of "Title of the Song," IMO, but it's still pretty damn funny.
