What does your real name mean?

Yet another personal information topic. Tell us what your real name means. You might have to ask your parents or look it up online.

My first name means "Home ruler." It does not fit me at all.

My second is a Khmer word. I had to ask my mother about it. It means "Bright. Bright like ray of sun." (her words) Fits poorly, considering my disposition and attitude towards the sun.

Last is German. It means "Mouth stick." Try as I might, I can not figure out any way that that makes sense.

Does anybody know what the hell "Nigel" means? Because of all the shows I've seen, Nigel is always attached to some nerd-type who gets close to chicks but never gets any. Damn.

The rest of my name, Wong Yuan Wei, basically means " Great Lord of Money" (not well translated, I never liked Chinese that much.

Nigel is the Latinized form of Neil, which is descended from the Gaelic name Niall. It might mean either "champion" or "cloud." It might also be related to the Latin word 'niger', which means "black".
