Yet another personal information topic. Tell us what your real name means. You might have to ask your parents or look it up online.

My first name means "Home ruler." It does not fit me at all.

My second is a Khmer word. I had to ask my mother about it. It means "Bright. Bright like ray of sun." (her words) Fits poorly, considering my disposition and attitude towards the sun.

Last is German. It means "Mouth stick." Try as I might, I can not figure out any way that that makes sense.

Does anybody know what the hell "Nigel" means? Because of all the shows I've seen, Nigel is always attached to some nerd-type who gets close to chicks but never gets any. Damn.

The rest of my name, Wong Yuan Wei, basically means " Great Lord of Money" (not well translated, I never liked Chinese that much.

Nigel is the Latinized form of Neil, which is descended from the Gaelic name Niall. It might mean either "champion" or "cloud." It might also be related to the Latin word 'niger', which means "black".

Information taken from http://www.behindthename.com/

I think there's a barbarian named Nigel in one of Pratchett's books. Confirmation?

Going by the site you provided Raxmei:

First name

DANIEL m English, Jewish, French, German, Scandinavian, Polish, Czech, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Biblical

He lived during the Jewish captivity in Babylon, where he served in the court of the king, rising to prominence by interpreting the king's dreams. The book also presents Daniel's four visions of the end of the world. Famous bearers of this name include English author Daniel Defoe, Swiss mathematician Daniel Bernoulli, and American frontiersman Daniel Boone.

Middle name

MORGAN m,f Welsh, English
Pronounced: MOR-gan
From the Old Welsh name Morcant, which possibly means "sea circle" from Welsh mor "sea" and cant "circle".

Ironically enough Skimmer's avatar is of a guy who actively tries avoiding fame and is strongly associated with the darkness.

But thanks, Raxmei.

JOHN m English, Biblical

The name has been borne by 23 popes, as well as kings of England, Hungary, Poland, Portugal and France. It was also borne by the poet John Milton and the philosopher John Locke.

My first name is Scandanavian, but is derived from an English name meaning "lover of Christ" {insert laughter here} or "annointed one," apparently, depending on whether you take the English or the Scandanavian lineage.

My middle names (yes I have two): one is Latin for "star of the sea," and the other is Hebrew for "true face."

My last name was extremely hard to figure out (it's very long and complicated), but I eventually found out that it means "fresh, new, in good condition."
