I'm outta here!

For a month. at least. Filthy Qwest lying sacks of shit won't be hooking up service for another month. They said two weeks ago that it would be tomorrow. LIARS!
I'm at the library 40 miles from home with 3 minutes 'till

What is it with American Internet services? I never paid much attention to it, but I've recently learned that American broadband adoption lags well behind that of Canada. Aren't you guys supposed to lead the world in this sort of thing?

HAH! I live on the edge of Silicon Valley, you think broadband would be the best here but its not. We have the worst cable infrastructure possible. The only thing that changes are the rates. They go up. DSL, which I have, is a little easier to get.

A lot of the Internet companies where based here, now their buildings sit as empty shells and their customers were screwed. Boom then Bust, thats the way it is.

You boys have no idea what bad broadband is until you live in a dorm with a horribly overexerted system. Awful.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

The problem is over saturation in many areas. There are so many companies competing, that rather then competition driving down prices, they all struggling to break even and have to keep prices high. Few of the providers have enough customers to be viable at lower rates.
