I thought he played Raiden well in Mortal Kombat. (1, not Annihilation, which sucked almost as much as most of Voyager)
Fragment of the Lord of Nightmares, release thy heavenly retribution. Blade of cold, black nothingness: become my power, become my body. Together, let us walk the path of destruction and smash even the souls of the Gods! RAGNA BLADE!

Oi...Raiden and Connor...ah well.
As for that...I dunno...Godzilla eating half the cast should be good fun.

Perinquus wrote: Yes, the original is the best. But for sheer awfulness, nothing beats that horrible version they filmed a couple of years ago with Christopher Lambert in the title role. Has he been in anything decent since the first "Highlander" movie?
Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan -- he was good in that.
I also like Fortress but then I liked Beowulf except for the effects on Grendel's mother (ack).

Greystoke was before Highlander.Tsyroc wrote:Perinquus wrote: Yes, the original is the best. But for sheer awfulness, nothing beats that horrible version they filmed a couple of years ago with Christopher Lambert in the title role. Has he been in anything decent since the first "Highlander" movie?

It's been awhile since I've seen it but I thought The Sicilian was okay but after looking at his filmography he really hasn't done anything memorable since Highlander.

You can tell that by the names and the plot. Buliwyf is a pretty obvious variation of Beowulf. And the names Hrothgar and Hygelac are common to both versions of the story. The sequence of events is pretty similar and the plot is the same. In one story there is a fearsome man-eating ogre, and his mother who must also be destroyed, and in the other there are these man-eating subhumans called the Vendol and their "mother" who must also be destroyed. Also notice the similarity in the names Grendel and Vendol. The list goes on and on.Typhonis 1 wrote:13th Warrior is a version of Beowulf a telling of it befopre it became the legend from what Michale Chriton wrote in the preface
