Let's say The Golden Apple landed into your lap and the three Goddess offered you their prizes which would you take

Hera: Rule any country.

Athena: Win any battle.

Aphrodite: the hand/love of any single woman.

and why?

Id probably go with the love of a women. Tell her find me my mate, so I could settle down after courting for a year or two.

First, I would make them promise not to seek any kind of retribution for not being chosen (that was Paris' mistake)

Then, I would take Athena.

I don't want to deal with ruling a country, and I don't trust myself to fall in love with any woman I see.

Acting like a man is a good way to get the girls, anyway.

I would pick:

With that power, I could win the battle of love for a woman, win a battle to rule a country.

Aphrodite.

But this time, she'd better make sure the woman isn't married or anything.

That leaves Athena and Hera...Athena's also the Goddess of Wisdom, as well as War, I'd pick Athena's, the battle that makes me the ruler of the most powerful country on Earth!

I'd toss the apple into the air, say "It goes to whoever catches it", and go off to have a hotdog with Eris and congratulate her on her arm.

I'd cut the apple into three equal pieces and give one piece to each goddess. Everyone walks away happy.

Aphrodite, I don't need to fight any more, I don't want to run a country, so finding the girl for me and lving happily ever after sounds the best (plus i can stop looking all over the place for her ). Of course I'd have to ensure no retaliation from the other two for not picking them, that would be the hard part!
