I just went to CompUSA a couple hours ago and I was informed that their shipment of Master of Orion 3 was delayed for 10 more days when they were supposed to get it in yesterday!!!

Actually , this time the multiplayer should be quite kick ass. When MoO2 originally was in developement they were 90% done when this little phenomenon called LAN Parties and the "internet" had just started to take off, so they tacked on a multiplayer function at the end , which ended up sucking much monkey ass as all of thoes who have(and cherish our copies) played MoO2 know.

This time, with the streamlined AI regional governors and such we'll all be able to try and kick eachothers asses out of the universe. Although the guys at Quicksilver have been mentioning that multiplayer games in the "huge" universe setting have been going for MONTHS just to complete a game. I still am salivating hungrily for it to be released

Well, Shep, you seem to ignore a certain basic factor as lack of infrastructure when MOO2 was released. Times have changed and multiplayer support is critical for the success of almost all games now.

It simply wouldn't do if the reviewers all started saying that there's major (or even minor) multiplayer bugs in the game, now would it?
