That is very cool, leaps ahead of anything I've seen before.

Not bad... still could use a little more emotion, and the pronounciation is still a little to distinct, but not bad at all. 8)

Maybe it's just the obscenity filled sentences I was typing in, but that thing had a rather bad speech impediment. Strangely it worked far better when set to UK english as opposed to US english with my profane phrases. Works decently with more normal sentences, but it needs more work on emphasizing certain words and syllabols, especially with cuss words. Try typing in "Shut the fuck up asshole! Fuck your mother you stupid inbred cunt!" and watch it mangle things. It needs to place more emphasis on all the cusswords.

The problem is that it doesn't seem to discern context. Thus emphasis is nonexistant. And trying to get it to seem like it is orgasming doesn't work.

Interesting. It says each capital letter correctly, but if you string it together in a sentence it can't pick up on that. Try typing in "roar" and "ROAR". Then type in "rrrroooaaaarrrrrr" and "RRRROOOOAAAAARRR".

But for basic communicative purposes, it's not that bad. It has trouble with the romanized form of foreign languages. Try typing in "kimchi batbingso
bibimbap bap saranghae anyounghaseyeo" Mind you, if you type in "bonjour" and select the French speaker, it sounds okay. At least to my ear. Problem is, it's sometimes difficult to romanize foreign languages. Neat that you can select either male or female for some of the languages.

Well, it took them a loong time to get a working version of this.
They made up over a billion different little snippets of speech, then divivided those by about a billion, mixed them around, and walah!
I've enjoyed it alot myself.
