For some bizarre reason my computer...

...keeps freezing up whenever I try to burn a CD. I'm on a 350 PII using a Yamaha-something burner that I got for Christmas last year, and CDs from Staples.
Any help?

Do you have a lot of programs running in the background? How about the RAM? Are the drivers up to date? Did you install anything lately that might have had an effect on the burner?
