Elna caps and Vishay resistors? Damn, those parts ain't cheap! It cost me a lot more than I thought it would to replace everything on my tube amp kit with Vishay-Dale's, Elna's, and WIMA caps. Cool stuff.

Mobo's with "High End Audio Sound". Could be interesting for the niche crowd.

I hate Aopen. I hate any electronics not made in the US or Japan for no reason whatsoever

. I've now stereotyped anything not made in these two countries to be of low quality, due to bad experiences with chinese and taiwanese cdrom drives that die after 3 months. Damn crappy acer and delta cdrom drives. Too bad I have an Asus motherboard and Aopen GFX and (win/lin)modem.

My Toshiba CD-ROM is rock-solid, actually. We had a few 12X drives long ago and they never failed; neither does my 48X.
But as you noted, just because it's Made in Taiwan doesn't mean its bad.

Nah I just said I've developed a stereotype since so much hardware has died on me
