Web celebrities

I was just wondering how many people have become celebrities via the web (that is- the web was the medium that made them a celebrity rather than TV, singing, writing, etc) I heard the guy in Undercover Brother got his movie from the skit he ran on his site with him as a character, ever think Mike could become one because of the web?
