How the government waste tax payers money!

Post by brothersinarm »

I don't know about anyone else buy I finally downloaded and tried the US Army game and I think it sucks. If this isn't a great example of how the American government waste tax payers money I don't know what is. I mean seriously the game isn't even fun, and I can't play multiplayer until I've gone through 10 levels of propaganda training. The game graphics aren't even better than quake's graphics. The game is boring especially the training sessions, if not pointless. millions of dollars went into a pointless game that's all show and no substance. Good thing I don't live in America, but I still feel sorry for the American taxpayers. Does anyone feel this way or is it just me and my cruddy graphics card???

The fully patched up version of AA:O is pretty damn fun.

Its not the best game ever made, but its still good fun.

Does the patch up version allow you to play multiplayer without completing the training?

No, but the training is good.

Its not that hard at all.

Plus I find it fucking irritating when I have to play with/against people who haven't done the training and have just downloaded a crack.

They don't have a clue as to how to play the game and ruin the experience for others.

It cost under 7 million dollars to make and a couple more million for the CD's. That's will buy about two tanks. The US Congress had some 800 different pork bills last year with a price tag in the tens of billions. I'd attack that problem first

Americas Army has attracted a lot of attention to US Army recruitment efforts and despite what you think a lot of people do like the game.

Hmmm...now that I think about it the game kinda make war seem like fun and game. What a horrible way to recruit people. Make it seem like fun then when the horror starts to set in...

I should make an Apocalypse Now/Full Metal Jacket mod.

Show the kiddies how it really is.
